Improved Carbide Brazing

DuraBraze is an independent company set up to service the cemented carbide industry. DuraBraze is located in the Statesville, NC area to better serve the surrounding woodworking industry.

The cobalt enriched surface insures full wettability of the braze joint and improves joint strength. The DuraBraze process combines heat and surface tension to draw a four micron pure cobalt layer to the part surface. The cobalt layer is microscopically textured to increase the surface tension and improve the capillary action which is essential for proper braze joint strength.
